Search Plugin

Hello,

I have installed the Search Plugin on my Joomla! 2.5.8 site. I have enabled it etc but There is no option anywhere in either of the Search areas.
I have tried searching for a known image and it seems to still only search on the articles.
Is there anything I can try to manually activate the plug-in as it doesn't seem to have done it?
The plug-in shows successful installation in Extension Manager and permissions are set correctly...

3.0.1 - have re-downloaded and re-installed the plug in several times and still had no luck.

Hi, go to phoca gallery category and re save it (it should get the public access) this can be the problem.

If you see nothing while listing categories in backend by "access" column then you should go to edit the category, set public access and save so the category will get public access.

Did you migrate from 1.5 - seems like the information about the access is missing there

If access was not set in Phoca Gallery in Joomla! 1.5 and all categories are public, likely, you need to run the following queries:

I did not migrate. This was a new install.
All access is set to public - or in the database labelled "1" in categories table

Are the images (and categories) authorized?

Yes they are all authorized. In the 'search' and 'smart search' sections there is no sign of Phoca Gallery what so ever. Even after re-indexing. I have tried a test search and does not pick it up.
3.0.1 is compatible with Joomla! 2.5.8 correct?

Hi, yes, the version is correct, but it is search pulgin and search plugins cannot be indexed. Do you mean the finder plugin, like e.g. this for Phoca Download: https://www.phoca.cz/phoca-download-finder-plugin ?

What should I be seeing with this search plug in? I thought it would enable the Joomla! search feature to also list my images?
I have activated this feature yet I can not see anything.
I believe the plug in you linked to is for files and not images, correct?

Hi Guys, i have an image gallery tht i have created using joomla and phoca bt the problem is with the search facility, i installed a "phoca search plugin" but when i search for my images in different categories the search results only return the 1st page/tab of the category, it's like the search plugin knows which category is the image but can not point to the exact tab or navigation number.
