phocadownloadpap error in 2.1.2

Hi,

today i´ve upgrade to phocadownload 2.1.2. I´ve set phocadownloadpap value to phocadownload folder into Options. Physically, All my documents and my preview documents (in fact, they are the same documents) are in phocadownload folder .
All was working right till i´ve made the upgrade. Now, downloads are right, however, file preview isn´t working.
when i click into file preview, phoca is trying to access to http://.... /phocadownloadpap/...file...

What´s wrong?

yes, in fact, values of the parameters "Download folder" & "Donwload folder (play, preview)" are the same.

however, url keep on pointing to http://...server../phocadownloadpap/...file.. when i try to preview a file.

Hi, I have changed some code in version 2.1.3, please upgrade to 2.1.3 and let me know if this is still the same issue.

Hi, i have the last versión 2.1.8 of the component and the same problem, the preview (PDF) try to open the file in the phocadownloadpap directory. Joomla 2.5.8

Hi, see similar posts in this forum, where this was explained - you need to upload files for preview in other than download folder.

What should I do if I have one file to download and preview?
I duplicated the same file. For me the folder phocadownloadpap has become a problem.

Hi, in latest versions (Joomla! 3) the files can be copied automatically to the phocadownloadpap folder.

The reason for two different folders is, you can hide phocadownload folder behind public_html (to secure your downloads) but if you want to preview or play files, such cannot be behind the public_html - so this is because play/preview has other needs than download.
