No Markers after update Joomla 1.5 to 2.5

Post by info@eilunh.de »

Hi,

I am used to Phoca Maps. I have updated from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5. After installing PM on Joomla 2.5 I have imported the 2 files from Mysql.

In phocamaps_map I had two ad 2 field: lang and language. The othe file I only had to ad a field language.

After this I had no errormessages anymore and everythings works well. Only markers will not show on the map.

Here is the link to two maps. The second one was made after the update. You have to scoll more than half way down to see them.

Hi, Markers are even not included in the html/javascript code, so check if they are published, try to check settings for language (e.g. set to all, etc.)

Hie, I have tried again according to this tutorial: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/50-phoca/ ... -joomla-25

When I run this sql query: UPDATE `jos_phocamaps_map` SET `language` = '*'; I get the following message: Unknown column 'language' in 'field list'.

The same happens to the other query: UPDATE `jos_phocamaps_marker` SET `language` = '*';

The first query works with lang instead of language.

Hi again,

I have to migrate a site with about 100 maps from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 2.5 in the next days. Do you think there is a possibility to get them converted ore should I start making them new by hand. This would be a lot of work.

Hi Jan,

I compared the old and the new databases and changed them. Now my 100 maps are working OK.
I had to do much more than they wrote in the tutorial.

Hi, thank you.

- I don't understand how can be some columns missing as you write in first paragraph. If you install Phoca Maps for new Joomla! it gets all needed columns. Import/export is only about data so the data will be pasted and new columns will stay unchanged?
