separate upload form frontend

Has this been done by anybody? I mean, having a page with just the upload form. It would be great if this was possible. It would require the code for the form (as in the component), including a drop down with the categories.

Can anybody give me pointers on where to start/ how to do this?

Just be patient and wait until next release. May be that this feature would be added into next version.

I was just wondering if I could contribute in the development of this feature.
With a few points in the right direction, maybe I can get some stuff done myself.

Is there a feature request section where I could otherwise post my feature request? I'm willing to wait for an update, but I'm not sure how frequent they are for this component and what it usually includes.

Hi,

the updates were really frequently (like in March I downloaded 1.4.x) - now the frequence has slowed down a bit.

Feature requests you can see in the forum "Phoca Gallery Development" and there is some feature request list, but Jan doesn't keep that up to date...
