Hi,
Is there a way to avoid the indexing robots to index a public download link and avoid to find it for instance via google.
Thanks

Re: Avoid indexing
Hi, you can add the files behind the public_html and of course you can use robots.txt for this (just see the guides for robots on Joomla! or Google sites)

Re: Avoid indexing
Well, the files are not indexed as they are in a directory excluded for indexing in the robot.txt file.
The problem is that the phocadownload links are indexed and I would like to avoid this, I tried adding the phoca url in the robot.txt file but it doesn't seem to work.
Any suggestion ?
Thanks

Hi, in case the links are indexed, then you can just set that the files are only for registered - then the links will end with login.
