mysql_num_rows() error

Greetings.

I am getting the following error when trying view my files list...

 Warning: mysql_num_rows() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in ./libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 293

I just upgraded to v2.1.9. Everything is working fine (files appear in the frontend), I just can not see my files list in the backend. Even the rest of the files page renders fine. Just the error message and no files listed.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
