Unicode upload support and preview permission

Hi!

First of all, thanks a lot for keeping most or all of your extensions free of charge. In my case I'm only trying to use and setup Phoca Download so far.
I'm using Joomla 3.1.1 and Phoca Download 3.0.0 beta.

My issues are these:
1. When I upload a file the file name might be "Hej Då.pdf", instead of preserving this name, it's saved as "hej d.pdf", so not only does it remove letters like åäö (Swedish), but it also makes the file name into lower case. Can this be fixed?
I guess it might remove those for compatibility for links etc. but then could it at least have an option to automatically add the original file name to the Title?

2. If I set permission for a file download to e.g. only registered users. That's fine for download. But when I also have a preview, it will preview that file (and display full download link from preview folder) without any check of permission.
I know I can hide files that aren't "accessible" by a user but then I'm sure I would have some users who would contact me "I cannot find the file" when they actually have to login first and doesn't get automatically prompted for it.

And a few side stuff:
3. When I choose the option to automatically copy preview to preview folder on upload, it doesn't seem to do it.

4. When selecting a preview file, images seem to appear in full size. Can they be reduced to a fixed size, like a thumbnail instead?

5. What plugins or settings are required to make the file archive look like the one you have on https://www.phoca.cz/download ?

2) see similar posts in this forum, preview files are not behind permissions - this is used e.g. if you have a document - for downloading you have complete document, for preview only table of contents or some selected sites (this is why there are different folders too)

3) It is frontend feature

4) This works in Phoca Gallery but in Phoca Download as it is not image gallery, there is no such option, so this needs to be customized
