Error when try to install german Language Pack

Hi there,
I am completely New Here and tried the phoca Maps.
Everything Fine so far, until i tried to install the German Language Pack.
It resulted in an error.

So i tried the documented Info for installing manually the files in the admin and site folder.
Also did not work. Still the buttons and labels are printed in English.

So do I maybe have the chance to change the labels manually?
Or what can I else try to set up the German language for joomla 2.5?
