Well, I think that is the workaround. With Zazar, now we are 2 that we're pointing to the same file and the same modification. When I've first mentioned it I suppose I was too tired to remember that I must clear the cache to see whether it worked or not.
Bot now, since it's the only tweak I've made that it made sense (and also it's another person here that came to the same conclusion), I think it can we officially state that modifying fadeslideshow.js is an efficient solution for many of us.

One possible cause for this message is that you have attempted to put a block-level element (such as "<p>" or "<table>") inside an inline element (such as "<a>", "<span>", or "<font>").

It trunkates the paths, causing struture errors with characters as -, _, /, etc...

I started getting this DIV error with upgrade to Joomla 2.5.11. Still getting error after upgrading to Phoca Gallery 3.2.0. (Can this be the latest version, released more than a year ago?)

To solve, I turned caching off. But now, my high-traffic site is very slow...

Hi, this was set one year ago - the problematic code is a part of component - so it was set in 3.2.1 component and since this, it is still the same (now the version is 3.2.6)

Not sure why you have upgraded your Phoca Gallery now to 3.2.0 - the latest is 3.2.6 - just update to latest versions:

Using Joomla 2.5.11. On Category Blog pages (like the homepage) that are set to show Featured Content, I get the dreaded DIV errors when: I have

One of the stories in the Links sections included a Phoca Slideshow

The error is because the javascript is put onto the page, then never used it seems?
