Details Button in IE10

Hi,

I'm using the latest version of Phoca Downloads (2.1.9) on my Joomla! 2.5.11 website, and I'm not sure but I think if I've found a 'Bug' in IE - I cannot get the 'Details' button to work in Internet Explorer 10!

When I hover my mouse over the button, nothing appears and also clicking it doesn't work. I've tried it on both my website and also yours and I get the same problem. If I switch on 'Compatibility Mode' then it works OK on both sites. I've tried the same links in Chrome and Firefox, and they work OK.

You may already have this in your sights, but I thought I'd let you know.

Hi, confirmed, some of the many bugs in IE, I will try to contact the overlib developer, if there is some patch for non standard browsers.

EDIT: found, will be changed in next version.

Anyway it is not recommended to use non standard browser to browse the internet

Hi,

With this bug in IE10, you state that the Joomla 3.0.0 release now fixes this. However for those using Joomla 2.5, is there a fix in a release version?

Also what implications are there if I were to install the Joomla 3.0.0 version on my current Joomla version 2.5.1.1?

Hi, quick fix for 2.5

Download the Phoca Download 3 ZIP installation package, extract this file:
site/assets/overlib/overlib_mini.js

and copy it to your Phoca Download 2 folder in your Joomla! 2.5, to:
components/com_phocadownload/assets/overlib/ folder
