Can't update to 3.0.2 version

Hi,

My installation :

Joomla 3.1.6
Phoca Download 3.0.1

When I try to install 3.0.2 version I always have an error message "Copy file failed"

What is going on ?

Hi, try to enable debug mode and php error reporting to get more information about the problem and try to check if the permissions and ownership of your files and folders are Ok. Phoca Download does not install itself but it is installed by Joomla! extension manager, so this needs to be checked there

I try to install it through the joomla extension manager but it doesn't work, I enable the debug mode but nothing special appears just the message copy file failed

Maybe I can make the update by uploading the files with my ftp client ?

But I don't want to loose all my files, is it possible ? Is there somewhere a documentation to do the update this way ?

Other big problem I didn't see before. Something was crashed during the process of udpating and now I have sql errors and no document can be downloaded !

This the same problem than this one : viewtopic.php?f=31&t=24355&start=0

What should I do, is it possible to reinstall the 3.0.1 version ? I try on local environment and same message copy file failed!!!!!

Which error you exactly get?

If you get the schema problems, the joomla! schema table - the item of phoca download should be cleaned.

With phpMyAdmin open the site's database and find table "_schemas". There should be a record with 2 values - PD component ID and current version. You can find PD ID in "_extensions" table (search for "com_phocadownload" in "name" row of the table).
