Hi, you need to change the XML, see:
administrator/components/com_phocadownload/models/forms/phocadownloadfile.xml

Hi, you need to backup the XML file and update it every time you will updated Phoca Download.

For now I don't have any information about if this is possible in Joomla! (to override parameters by other XML)
