Download Button Plugin creates READABLE code

Hello all,

the subject says almost all:
When using the button "Phoca Download File" in the normal Joomla content editor the code is created as expected:

Code: Select all

{phocadownload view=file|id=1|target=s}

for example.

But instead of a link to the file or a download link (Don't exactly know what shall be generated because I'm new to Phoca Download.) in the Phoca Download component the code itself is shown as above.

Joomla!: 3.2
Phoca Download: 3.0.3
Download Button plugin: plg_editors-xtd_phocadownload_v3.0.1.zip

Can anybody help?

Yes, because you need to install and enable Phoca Download Plugin too. (This plugin executes the code from Download Button Plugin)

Hi, Phoca Download Plugin is not packed into Phoca Download Button Plugin as both are different plugins. Phoca Download Plugin is a main plugin and mostly it is used without button plugin - no needed mostly. Phoca Download Button Plugin is a help plugin for the Phoca Download Plugin so in fact, main plugin cannot be packed in help plugin as help plugin is not so much used as main plugin. Main plugin cannot be a part of its help plugin and Help plugin is not a part of its main plugin as many user don't use it and they want not download a plugin which they will not use. So both can be downloaded separately.

Hi Jan,

ok, I understand.

But wouldn't it be a nice idea to place a little hint at the download link? I think this would reduce time exposure for the people who maybe need that file and for your or or your moderators to support them.
