Close Bubble on Select of Another

Post by iphie »

Hey there, I'm sorry if I completely missed this or if there was a forum post somewhere else, but I couldn't find anything, I tried to search as thoroughly as I could, but we all have our failures in searching.

Is there a way to have a bubble disappear when you select another marker? For instance, when I do a google maps search for "schools" a list of all of the schools in the area comes up. I click on one of them and the bubble comes up for that marker, and then I click on another marker on the other end of town and the previous bubble disappears and the new one opens.

Thanks much!

Jan,

I made that change in the options, turning it to Yes, but it doesn't seem to have changed anything. Do I need to make any changes anywhere else?

Hi, it should be set only in Options, please let me know which version you are using, so I can test it?

Jan,

I'm running Phoca Maps 3.0.0 on Joomla 3.2.1.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi, testing now 3.2.1 and Phoca Maps 3. Set the parameter and I can switch between the popup windows normally

- Check if on your site there is no javascript error, which can prevent from running the code

Jan,

Not getting any JavaScript errors. I did get an error that the default.css file couldn't be found in plg_content_phocamaps/assets but found it in plg_content_phocamaps/css so Copied it to the appropriate directory. That didn't fix the issue though. There was also an error with another plugin that I was using to display social media icons so I disabled those and it still won't run correctly.

Is there a place in the code or the database that I can check that this is actually changing or can make the change and then just ignore the setting altogether?

Thanks!

Hi, if there is no javascript error, no other plugin or module should be in conflict but maybe now I understand? Are you using the plugin? ... This is component feature not a plugin feature, in plugin, there is no such option yet

Dur. Sorry, for some reason I thought the plugin would call an instance of the component. It's working, you can close this one out as solved.

Thanks!

Hi, yes, the feature needs to be implemented into the plugin, added to feature request list.
