Safari should have the same kernel as Google Chrome browser, which works without problems, maybe reinstalling of joomla and of a component will help

I am having the same problem with a new install of Joomla 1.5 and Phoca Download.
when using IE7 or Google Chrome i can not upload files. When I use FireFox 3 I can load files partially.

When I load the file, everthing appears to transfer but when I go to the live website and try to download the file, there is nothing there.

any help would be appreciated.

maybe the flash does't work here:

- can you upload in media manager ?
- can you upload if you disable the flash uploader ? (in Phoca Download settings)

Yes, I can upload via media manager. Disabling the flash allowed me to upload my files correctly.

Now it says "Error while downloading file" when I try to test the downloading. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Thank you!

I have this working correctly now. I read another post about downloads not working. I needed to select the file from the window to complete the upload process. Once doing this, everything is working perfectly.

Thank you for your help!
