Hi Jan,
I've installed Phoca Pdf on a J.3.2.1 site. I'm using the core Joomla template Protostar. I followed your instructions on this page: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/47-phoca- ... e-joomla-3, without modifying the Jooma core files so far. The icon for pdf creation shows ok, but the resulting popup is empty. I tried other core templates (Atomic, Beez) with exactly the same results.
Do you think I'd need to modify the core files in this situation? I hoped that using core template would save me from that
By the way, the site is and will forever be running locally as I have some kind of administration in it which is for my own use only. So I can't show it online, I'm afraid.
Kind regards,
Frits

Hi, no. You need to edit the templates or code only in case the icon is not displayed.
If there is no text inside the PDF, this seems like some problem with wrong characters. It can happen, that some editor paste into the article characters (empty characters - hidden characters) which can then break the PDF. Try to test it with some article which include only e.g. one word and the code is without new lines, etc. For example: <div>Test.</div>

Re: Empty popup box on J.3.2.1
Hi Jan,
I just found out that I made a mistake:
I created this site with Joomla 2.5 originally. Then I upgraded the site to J.3.2. In this process I upgraded the Phoca Pdf component but I forgot to upgrade the content plugin. When I realized this I upgraded the plugin as well, and the issue was solved.
Thanks for your reply anyway, please keep up the good work
