Menu Item Gallery Assignment Problem

So this is what happened to me. I was clicking my website and was getting 404 on the gallery menu links. I went to the admin and component and the galleries and images are all there.
Then I went to check the menu links and they have no reference to the gallery and I can't choose one.

I click my menu item and choose phocagallery but it doesn't show any suboptions. So I just click phocagallery and then on the right I try to point it to the gallery i want but the Parameters (basic) have nothing on them.

So galleries there, images there, menu items references are not there and I can't choose. Did some file or maybe the database get corrupted? What file has the options for the joomla menu items? Need to try and repair just this little bit.

Not knowing very well what happened I just uploaded the file again and did an upgrade and it fixed it. Let's hope it stays like that
