Show module's in photo gallery.

Hello,

On mij frontpage i have the module phoca gallery tree module, so it show all mij
photo catagorie's for "fast" visitors who want directly go to the photo albums.

But i have also an "portfolio" menu link and on that page there is also an tree menu
in the left side bar of the page.

When i on my home page "click" on the photo album "london" i get this adress:
mysite.com/component/phocagallery/category/25-london

That page shows only the photo's and not the correct main menu item (portfolio)
and also nothing else. So when i click in the main menu on "portfolio" en then in
de left side bar (wich is tree gallery) on london ill get:
mysite.com/portfolio/category/25-london

So, wich i want is actually when some click on the tree module on the frontpage, the link
must be the same as when ill go to "portfolio" en then click on "london"

Is the anywhy to "link" the tree module so that he redirect to the links from the other
tree module ? So the outcome of the complete web adress is the same ?

This is exactly what i ment, and it worked great ! Thank You !

But, what i don't understand, i had already in my main menu (which is published) an link
to Phoca gallery (categories view), why does that don't work ?

And if i add an hidden menu, with the same menu link as in the main menu, and i unpublished
the module, then it works !

I try to understand the connection why it works now, but not only with main menu with the same link...

Please explain.

Hello Jan,

It is almost working as i want, i have an "portfolio" link in my menu, so i dont need to
make an hidden menu, it is working when i set the portfolio page as "categories view".

However, i would like that the main menu button "portfolio" is an list of image, but if i set
the menu item to that one, the phoce three does not redirect to that page...

Please help... ! The launching of the website is planned for tomorrow, and this is the last issue that needs
to be solved !

I'am wondering why it does work when i use categories view, but not when i use category view... Is there an trick ??

Hi, really no idea what can be wrong there.

Every crated link tries to find the menu link ID, to get some SEF address, then such is changed by Joomla! JRoute method to SEF link, but what some of the link does not work, really no idea

Weird, i would be really statified if it could work, the site is online, maybe you could look ?

It's about the joomla tree menu at the home. This does not work correctly.
For example, if you at the home and you click on the photo album "london" i get this
page: www.mmphoto.nl

If you click on one of the tree menu items you get only the catagories with no side menu.

I'll would like if it is like this: http://mmphoto.nl/component/phocagaller ... /25-london

I would like to be that it refers to this page: http://mmphoto.nl/mijn-werk/category/25-london

I sent you login data true an pm, maybe you could look for me ?

The website is online now, so if you click from the home-page on the catagory "london" you get this page:
http://mmphoto.nl/component/phocagaller ... /25-london

It would be nice if it could be this link:
http://mmphoto.nl/mijn-werk/category/25-london

So, it look likes that the "component/phocagallery" must be replaced for "mijn-werk".

Please help me.
