I'm getting some really strange behaviour out of PhocaDownload. I have Joomla's built-in SEF- and multi-lang options enabled and I have a suspicion that either of the two or their combination is at the root of this issue...
There are basically two major problems:
Some downloads simply cannot be reached as the generated URLs are simply not resolvable.
Other links inexplicably lead to the category list which I do not want as some of the categories are supposed to be hidden (i.e. only reachable if you know the URL).
This appears to be almost random: Some links (that are supposed to go the file details page) work, many others simply don't and some others do something completely different than what they're supposed to do.
My primary method of displaying lists of links to the user is via the filelist content macro as I feel that offers me the greatest level of control. I do not use any of the PhocaDownload item types.
The "hidden" download pages are implemented via menu items in a secondary menu that is only shown on those pages themselves (if at all).
How exactly do I "link" or associate files or file categories with menu items/aliases?
If you send me a PM I can send you links to the actual pages that exhibit the problems. As I want (some of) the links to remain unpublished I can obviously not post them here... :-/
Cheers,
Oliver

Re: Problems with PhocaDownload and Joomla's SEF and multi-l
Hi, does it work correctly when you disable SEF?
When you enable it, and you will create only one menu link - to phoca download categories (all other will be removed), does it work correctly?
