Everything installed just fine. No errors. No problems. Created a category just fine. Added files for downloading just fine.
I am simply trying to create something to put into my articles for any downloadable/playable file. A file name, file details, a play button and a download button. No changes I make in the options seem to be working. Where does the Download button come from? How about the Play button? Details? What do I need to do to make this work? Are there any step-by-step option settings that need to be done? What are the settings? What has to be done to get the code into the article?

Hi,
2.) You will find a new button 'Phoca Download File' at the lower end of your editor.
3.) With this button you are able to create valid code and place it into your articles.
See: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/17-phoca- ... e-joomla-3
Kind regards,
Benno

If you want to preview or play files, you need to copy this files in the /phocadownloadpap folder too and of course you need to set up this options in backend --> Components --> Phoca Download --> FilesHow about the Play button?

Re: Not understanding the options and settings
I checked the list of installed plugins (Extensions->Plugin Manager) and there are two plugins from Phoca:
At the bottom of the JCE edit window is single Phoca button titled "Phoca Download File". There is no button titled "Phoca Download" even though both plugins are installed and enabled.
When I click on the "Phoca Download File" button and then the "Link to File" choice in the popup window, what gets displayed in the article is just a file name along with a download button that looks like a download arrow. There is no "Play" button. There is no "Detail" button.
What am I doing wrong?
