create a pdf gallery

Hello, and thank you for a wonderful set of tools!

I want to be able to upload my folder of 100's of pdf's that are in a multiple-level folder structure, and have the result be a gallery that
1) displays a thumbnail of each pdf
2) a "preview" button that pops up a modal light box
3) download button for the file itself
4) all categories created automatically based on the folder structure I uploaded/ftp'd.

I know how to upload a folder containing multiple levels of subfolders which creates the categories I need, but not the rest when it comes to pdf's. I did read the post called "creating a PDF gallery"
