New funcionality help

Hello,

I need a new funcionality over my phoca download section and I don't know how to start.

When a document is first time published I need to create another document that will be like a certficate that show when it was published and can not be modified.

This option is only for one category of documents so it must be an option, so i was thinking to develop a button to create it, but I don't know if there is any phoca download development specifications or an already plugin that can help me to do it.

Any idea, option that can help me.

Hi, Phoca Download is based on Joomla! CMS, on MVC of Joomla! so the coding is the same like for Joomla!, not sure if this info can help you
