[solved] Error when logging in

Post by beckni »

Hi,

I have a bunch of files with restriced access level which are visible to public users. When I click on such a file Joomla takes me to the login page with the message "please login to download this file". However, when log in I get an error message "it is not allowed to see this resource". When I go to the download page and click on the same file again, it downloads without any complains. How can I fix this?

Hi, which version of Phoca Download you are using? Do you use cache?

I've sent an email with a link, username and pass for you to try.
Thanks in advance!

Nevermind, I've solved the problem!

The reason for the error was that I had created a menu with a link to the login page with a redirect to 'index.php'. After I deleted this menu everything worked fine.
