In the background slideshow the imgs are resized and then scretched to fit the widith of the browser window,
but even if i load an hi res img it's resied to low res, how can i change that ?
First of all you should check:
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Options --> Main --> Thumbnail Generation Settings -->
Enable Thumbnails Generation=Yes
Crop Thumbnails=None
JPEG Quality=85(or >)
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Options --> Main --> Images And Detail Window Size Settings -->
Large Image Width=(eg.)1600
Large Image Height=(eg.)1200
Save & Close
I just checked this with some HD-res images (1920x1080pix) without problems...

Hi, I am new in phoca.
I read this procedure and download phoca gallery v3.0.2 and i am using joomla 1.7 i also used template phoca build. in photo gallery everytime i add a category error says ==Save failed with the following error: Category must have title== i already input title (phoca test). and that is the only * requirement to input category. any other settings need to configure first?
Regarding the setting up and loadingof the background images, I have followed all the instructions which were simple to do, step by step but my images are still not showing as the background - any suggestions?

This is not easy to answer because I do not know what steps you have done up to now and which not. So please describe a little more. If the site is live please post a URL.
