Hi,
I have upgraded the phoca download component to version 2.1.1 in a joomla 1.6.6.
In back office, the url http://www.mio sito.it/administrator/index.php?option=com_phocadownload&view=phocadownloadfiles
give me the error:

500 - Si è verificato un errore.

JHtml: :batch non supportato. File non trovato.

I have uninstalled all, deleted all folder and table. I have reinstalled but the error remains!!!

I am following this post. I am having the exact same issue. I am using Joomla 1.6.6 and Phoca Download 2.1.1.
1) Path in table #__menu was checked for correct url
2) when selecting "Files" tab to view files I get 500 error along with - An error has occurred. JHtml: :batch not supported. File not found.
3) I tested every view modifing /index.php?option=com_phocadownload&view=(tried all views within administrator>components>com_phocadownload>views) --> all views work except phocadownloadfile and phocadownloadfiles which both produce 500 error.
4) Came across a view at /index.php?option=com_phocadownload&view=phocadownloadset and received an error of: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach()in /home/content/99/123456/html/mysite/administrator/components/com_phocadownload/views/phocadownloadset/tmpl/default.php on line 14 - Not sure if this is normal as it is not an CP item. Noting it for purpose of troubleshooting.

4) along with the "files" 500 error there is some sort of missing CSS as you can see in the "after" pic below.

2) is Joomla! 1.7 feature - please upgrade to 1.7
4) did you enable debug mode to get info about problems in database (seems like some table or column is missing)

I upgraded from 1.66 to 1.7. This somehow fixed everything and PhocaDL works great... I had to make sure all my other components were ready for the upgrade though but thankfully an upgrade worked this time. Thanks for your reply!

I use Joomla 1.6.6 and have the same problem. I have enabled debug mode; you may download a file with results here: http://www.lubinet.pl/500.doc.

Is it possible to fix this bug without upgrading to Joomla 1.7? If no, where can I download a PD version that works with Joomla 1.6.6?

Hi, this is not a bug, this is a feature. there are two options:

- upgrade to 1.7 (because of security reasons this is recommended)
- or downgrade Phoca Gallery and select the version for Joomla! 1.6 (not recommended)

Hello!

My problem has revealed itself after i updated my phocagallery now it is 3.1.1 on Joomla 1.6.1.

And i have several problems with Error 500.

When i go to my images or categories i have this type of panel view. Actually with no admin panel and 500 error at the bottom saying that "JHtml: :batch doesn't supported. File does not exist."



Another problem is that all categories that have over 100 items (pictures inside) are giving me error 500 if i click to view the category.

For those have the same problem with 500 pcre.backtrack.limit ( in configuration.php file) at the end of the file put ini_set('pcre.backtrack_limit', 150000);


I guess part of my topic is solved. Another part is related to incorrect admin panel work. I fill like i will be ok if i reinstall the plugin but it will give me another 4 hour work to uploading the pictures and customizing the plugin...

Hi, Phoca Gallery 3.1.1 is Joomla! 1.7 component, you should upgrade your Joomla!
