Any idea about the Download Button not beginning the download issue? I'd be willing to delegate access to the site if you are willing to take a look?

Hi, on your site:

- I have set the File View to No
- and SEF disabled and the file is downloaded (PDF displayed) directly.

This means, you need to have right SEF URL link in case you are using SEF, see:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... -in-joomla (plugins needs to get some Itemid of Phoca Download - some Phoca Download menu link needs to be created .e.g. some hidden)

Hi,

Just confirming I tested successfully using the information in Jan's post above i.e. if you have SEF turned on, create a menu link to the section/category the documents reside in (even if you have to create a hidden menu).

The links now work with the Phoca Download plugin i.e. the file itself opens directly instead of sending you to the category page of the document.

Ditto!!! I just confirmed the same.......all I did to fix the problem is create a hidden menu and added PhocaDownload Item that specified the Category related to the items I have listed in the article as download buttons!
