Then since they are both API3 and one of them works correctly, it is not an API related problem, is it?

Hmmm, then really no idea what can be wrong there, why one is working and second not?

Have you tested it? Does it work? Has anybody tested it?
With the 2.0.2 even polylines work.

Can you then make them available?
Did polylines also work?

Hi, see:
https://www.phoca.cz/joomlademo/phoca-maps-kml
(
https://www.phoca.cz/joomlademo/phocamap ... simple.kml )
So seems, there should not be any problem with polylines
Tested:
Phoca Maps 2.0.4
KML enabled in parameters
KML set in Map: polygon-simple.kml

OK, and what about polylines?

Hi, I think polyline should work the same way as polygon
(but not tested - didn't find any example - only for polygon)

Well, I'd be happy if you could test it.
The reason people write here is mainly because things do not work as they think they would.
The polygon-simple.kml file provided does not work in my joomla 1.5 and PM 1.1.1
The test page you mentioned is joomla 1.7, isn't it? So I do not understand you, because I have already mentioned on several occassions that in PM 2.0.2 everything works fine.
Once more: in joomla 1.7 and PM 2.x.x everything works fine. The problem is with J1.5 and PM 1.1.1.
