Hi,
I have eventually figured out all the issues regarding this. In the end its pretty straight forward. Thanks for all the help last night! Two questions; when I ensert the code: displaybuttons=1, it still don't show the buttons - only text (what am I doing wrong?). Also, I downloaded a theme from the website, installed successfully, yet it doesn't seem to work (any suggestions?).
I'm also going to write a tutorial on how to place a gallery within an article, if you dont mind...
regards, gustav

Hi,
1) does the detailed window have enough height for displaying buttons?
2) Did you check all the check buttons while installing Theme?

2) I only cheked the second box - should I check all 3?

Hi,
You could check in your Phoca Gallery Parameters what the setting is for 'icon format'.
In components/com_phocagallery/assets/images there should be buttons with this file type.

I cannot find any "setting"? Do you mean the css style sheet? So you cannot display the buttons with displaybuttons=1, am I understanding you correctly?

Hi,
it displays text, because the buttons are .gif and in the Phoca Gallery parameters the icon format is set to something else, I think. A template installation could have done that.
You can change that in components > phoca gallery > control panel > [parameters] button. see:
