I'm still thinking of this issue.

Best would be if as an administrator you could tell the module by parameters:

• what subtrees should be expanded, and
• down to what level.
• If possible, one should be able to parameterize this per ItemId the module is shown.

I know this is overkill for small galleries. But for large category trees, with maybe more than one menu item, it can make all the difference!

I think, the javascript library for this menu allows only two ways:

- display all root categories - closed tree (only first level)
- or display all categories - opened tree ...
