What can be the problem if the components map is set to 777 and the installation is able to make the maps? Then it should be allowed to delete them aswell right? Is there anything I can change to get this to work?

Yes, there should not be a problem with memory

see the permission (not in the components folder) but in folder:

- image/phocagallery

Is there a thumbs directory with some thumbnails or only thumbs directory with index.html without thumbnails

Hmmm... awesome.. it seems to be working now!

After I reinstalled phocagallery I did another chmod 777 on the images/phocagallery map.

Now I didn't get an internal server error while adding the picture! This was a small file.. It doesn't work with big files!

I tried a 85KB file.. That worked.. But as soon as there is a file which is (only!) 250KB than it gives the internal server error. Is this a memory problem? And which memory is it than? Can I ajust this in configuration or do I need my webhosting provider to fix this?
