Hmm, then really no idea what could be wrong there. When the parameters are saved and you can see the changes in Options, it means, the parameters are OK and they are correctly stored in database.

The only idea I have for now is, e.g. that the template overrides the component output and does not work with the parameters. Do you use some template which overrides the component output?

Well, I'll restore the original one and I'll let you know... fingers cross...

Hi, you should check if your edited files accept the parameters - if the parameters are handled like in the original files

Yes, backend --> Components --> Phoca Download --> Control Panel --> Options --> General --> Description

Set Description. This will be displayed in Caregories View

after setting of your description (see above, from Benno) you have to active under: Options > Display ...

Value: (None | Top | Bottom | Overlib | Top and Overlib | Bottom and Overlib | Top with detail and Overlib | Bottom with detail and Overlib | Overlib with detail) Display or hide description

I have only Overlib Settings
