Re: Phoca Gallery Button Plugin - Error 500

Re: Phoca Gallery Button Plugin - Error 500
Hello Jan,
I have the same problem. I am using JCE, but after switching to TinyMCE the problem persists. I see the button in the backend, but after pressing it I get a pop-up screen with the message as described in earlier posts.
Please Help!
Thanks in advance!

Here also Error 500 in backend. No button in frontend.
Maybe it would be the best to have a linkr plugin. This seems to work with every editor. But on the other hand there is also the possibility to make a plugin for JCE. but for both jobs I am not skilled enough.

Try to enable debug mode in Joomla! and check if the latest gallery component was installed on your system.

Dear Jan,
Installing the latest version did solve the issue. Also working with the JCE editor!
Keep up doing the good job!

Re: Phoca Gallery Button Plugin - Frontend yet?
Any update on when this functionality might appear in the front end?

Phoca Gallery Button Plugin - Frontend Files
Hi there,
Hope an admin spots this as it will hopefully save them some time (and others too).
I think I have made the Gallery Button editor plugin work in the front end.
Attached is a zip of the files I have used. Basically I took things from the admin component and put them in the front end component and jiggled around a few classes and the model and removed the front end 'off switch' from the plugin itself.
(UPDATED I COULD NOT UPLOAD THE FILES- reply with your e-mail and I'll e-mail them to you)
You can search through the files for 'DOS MODIFIED' to see the changes I made.
If you download the zip and install it over your Joomla installation it should work. But I must make a
DISCLAIMER: I do not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever if this does not work or damages your site in any way. I have no idea whether the files I have made may open security vulnerabilities etc so you use the files AT YOUR OWN RISK.
That said feel free to try them but BACKUP FIRST.
Now what we need is a Phoca editor plugin that will display the inserted code as an image or something less scary for non-techs and enable them to click the image and delete/edit it....
Not sure I can do that on my own though...

David,
How many files did you need to edit? If it is not many, could you post the code from the file in a post wrapped between [ code ] [ /code ]? (Remove the spaces or use the Code button in the editor.)
