Phoca Cart and Gallery integration

Hi,
I am using phoca cart to sell printed images. At the moment the idea is I have an item(with no attributes or anything whatsoever) and the item image is the actual photo I am selling. Now the only problem with this it that now I can't scroll through images, instead I have to go back to category view and open the next product and then its image. Any ideas how to make image browsing between products easier?

I am coming back to this now. Turning on "navigation" in settings where it says "previous product" seems to make no differnence as in I can't see any navigation.
Do I need to enable a module or a special template for this to be available?

Display Navigation (Item View) will display navigation in Item view. Additionaly you can set Next/Previous Title option.

Thank you, but even turning on those options make no difference:-(
There is no previous or next button.
