Hello,

This is also an old topic I want to reboot. Since last weekend the mobile download is only redirecting to the catagory view without actually downloading the file. I've tried it with several files and they all have this issue. Maybe it is because of the style I use. How can I change that? By the way I installed the latest version but that didn't help.

Hi,
After checking the "blue Download button":
<input class="btn pd-button-download" type="submit" name="submit" id="pdlicensesubmit" value="Download">

Boven: <button class="plg_system_eprivacy_agreed">Ik ga akkoord</button>
Download is not possible, until I hv accepted above button. (privacy_agreed).

In addition: The blue Download button contains some > .com_docman etc. segments in compiled/master.....css > from DOCman (documents & download manager).

The thing is that with a PC version of Chrome everything works as expected, however as soon as I try to download via the Chrome browser on my Android the button doesn't start the download but redirects me to the category view. So it seems to be something with an incompatible setting.
Also I don't fully understand your post, does it mean that I have to change something in the css or somewhere else?

Hmmm,

testing now on different devices (smartphone, tablet), always get the download there


Really hard to say what can be wrong there, maybe some cache problem, maybe some server limit

Thank you for your reply. I still have this problem, even when I select to open the desktop site within the chrome settings. Clearly it is something not related to the phoca download module. I will try to find the cause of this. Thanks for your help!

Hello,

I keep having issues with the downloads on mobile devices. For example, the following file: https://scoutingalphen.nl/Privacyverklaring is perfectly downloadable on PC with both Chrome and IE, but using Chrome on my Android device is giving the following error:

Error: 404 - View is not found [name, type, prefix]: phocadownload, html, phocadownloadView

Help would be welcome!

ik weet echt niet, waarom etc. er dat gebeurt, heb het probeert ....

I checked with FF and Chrome (but on desktop). The blue button (previous post) is removed now (it was from doc_man) Doc manager.
