I also enabled debugging and set the error messages to maximum. No error message.

It was an Update from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4 and then Joomla 5. After updating Joomla to Joomla 4 I installed the beta version of Phoca Guestbook.

Hi, on your site, when I add a guestbook post, the server displays 303 error:

But really hard to say what this should mean. :idea: This is maybe a question on webhosting or server operator, try to see error logs on your server, to see if there will be some more detailed info about the 303. :idea:

This is what I get in the log file:

The last "0" is the size (of whatever).
I have no idea what to do.

Meanwhile I made what you described in the migration inscription. I made a new guestbook and imported the old entries. But this did not change anything.

I uninstalled the guestbook, installed it new and imported the old entries with phpMyAdmin.
Now I see the entries in phpMyAdmin, on the website and in the table of the backend.
But I still don't get new entries.

Any idea what to do?

And when you uninstall and install (without adding new values), are you able to add new items?

After uninstalling the guestbook again and installing it new, without importing the old entries, I can enter new items. They are saved correctly.
What can be wrong with the import file?

I now again tried the import and I get an error message. No item is imported.

The error window says:
#1050 - Tabelle 'jos_phocagiestbook_items' bereits vorhanden

Hi, this means, that in your database, the table jos_phocaguestbook_items exists, so the guestbook was not sucessfully uninstalled. When there is new install, it cannot be installed as the old table stays in database :idea:
