I know that this problem has been discussed before and solutions have been offered, so it may be I'm still a Joomla rookie that is causing this problem.

I am trying to show just a few thumbnails from a category that when clicked brings up the normal modal slideshow box, which works, when they try and go forward or back on an image, it tries to show the category thumbnail view instead of the image.

Here is the code for the gallery I'm using:
{phocagallery view=category|categoryid=1|imageid=0|limitstart=0|limitcount=3|detail=0|displayname=1 |displaydetail=1|displaydownload=0}

Here is the link to the test article I'm using it in:
http://beautyscoops.com/index.php/artic ... s/49-test- gallery

Again, I know that the solution has been talked about, I just don't know how to implement it I suppose, or maybe I have a slightly different situation.

Thanks in advance!

That finally did it, I was using the wrong category listing type before and hadn't set the aliases.

Thanks Jan!
