Hello!
I just found that Phocagallery is not working..
After installation i got this..

Phoca Gallery
Folder images\phocagallery\ created!
PhocaGallery successfully installed.



So my problems are..
1.I didn't get folder for thumbnails
2.When i trying to add photos like gallery/new or gallery/multipleAdd
i can see all names of pictures that i put into phocagalley folder, but when i choose some and press Save, browser shows me blank page.

Hi,

1. Maybe you cannot access the server (you don't have permission to write data on server)
2. This is the same problem, I think. Phoca Gallery cannot write the thumbnails on the server disc

Try to change permissions for folder: images and images/phocagallery to 777

hmm.. i found that the problem was in PHP5..
so i just changed it on PHP4 and everything now works pretty nice =))

i must say that this component is brilliant..

and where can i set the size of thumbnails ?

It is not so easy with size of thumbnails, If you change the thumbnail size, you must change the window sizes, sometimes CSS. And you must do it before you will use Phoca Gallery, because thumbnails are created only one time. So if you change the thumbnails size, you must delete all old thumbnails, where you have changed the size and after that new thumbnails will be created.

There is complicated HTML and CSS source code combined with thumbnails. E.g. medium thumbnails (thumbnails, you see in category): there are three boxes and a lot of code in CSS because of:
- vertical centering (IE6,IE7, FF, Opera)
- horizontal centering (IE6,IE7, FF, Opera)
- hover effect (IE6,IE7, FF, Opera)

Hi,
I have the same problem with a site of a friend. But i dont know what to do. The folders are 777 now but it is still not working. Any idea what i do wrong? Please help me.

Is your PHP version correct?
Is main Joomla! folder set to 777?

My php version is: PHP Version 4.4.7-0.dotdeb.0
My GD Library? I think its already built in the Joomla 1.5 RC3 ?

I can not upload or edit pictures. When i click on phocagallery i am getting a white screen thats all.

But i can't change anything now anymore cause i cant use phocagallery (white screen agaiN).
