I want to have 2 or maybe 3 columns but if i select that in the parameters it doesn't work.

Hi, there is no column settings for plugin :-(

but maybe you mean the component... maybe on your site there is no place for e.g. 2 or 3 plugins, so the columns will be reduced because of template...

Yes sorry i wanted to say component (;P)

I don't think that there isn't enough place because its in every template, even in the standart ones.

Now i was able to find the failure. I always wanted to set the 2 colums in the parameter lightbox in the component.
But now i tried it in the component parameters in the menu. Now it works

I can't seem to get my categories to go into columns. I would like to have 3 columns, but currently only have a single column that is very long. I've tried leaving the width blank and also specifying 1000px width, but that didn't make a difference. I saw that permissions can be an issue, so I have set my permissions to 777. I've tried setting it to 2 columns, but that doesn't make a difference either.

Am I doing something wrong? Do you know what I need to do?

My gallery can be found at http://scrapbook.mtasolutions.com/mta/.

Jan,

Thank you! I didn't realize there were a second set of parameters out there. I think for future versions of the component, you should allow users to use global settings for every category, including the image/box size fields.

I greatly appreciate your help!

Ivan

Did you read the article? The article explains why it is not possible to do it in Joomla, so it doesn't depend on me but on the Joomla framework's parameter behaviour ....
