No multiple upload?

Hi,
I've installed your Phoca Gallery 1.8.6 on my Joomla 1.5.3 and it looks great!
The only thing that I wonder is that I still get a single-upload-file form for a registered user.
I've checked in the parameters of the gallery and I've checked the Global Config of Joomla.
Both have the Flash Uploader enabled.
Any idea's?

By the way...
I am able te upload multiple files when I try to add an image within an article.
Then I just get the Flash Uploader.
But I can't seem to get the Flash Uploader for Phoca Gallery...

Hi, the flash (javascript) uploader is disabled in frontend (from security reason - because of multiple thumbnails creating)

No multiple upload? Flo's functionality wishlist...

First of all: This is the best gallery component i know so far! Keep your great work up, Jan!
But: I would really appreciate it, if it was possible to allow a user to upload multiple pictures. How about making it possible to upload multiple pics in form of a zip-archieve?
Another thing i'd really love to see as a function is the possibility of rating the pictures and giving the opportunity to make comments on single pictures.
If these two things would be possible, first of all I'd love Jan & the Gallery even more and secondly I would emmediately make a donation. This no attempt to bribe you, but then I would be so happy that you and your banc account would be able to feel my appreciation...
Regards,
Flo.

1. there is a problem with zip, because it is not about the uploading zip, it is about uploading, adding images into galleries, CREATING THUMBNAIL (there can be possible problems with stopping the thumbnail creationg, server busy, etc., etc...
2. I am ready to cooperate with some commenting and rating system, but nobody cotacted me...

1. How about using something like a token system? So that the server only works on one thing at a time. Could that solve the "server busy" porblem?
2. Unfortunately I'm not a programmer. But if you tell me how I can help you, I'll do anything that is possible for me. What I can offer is, that I look for a comment plugin which you could probably copy into your system or you create some sort of interface, which implements the comment functionality of the plugin too.
Don't hesitate to contact me via EMail.
Regards,
Flo.

1. no the problem is independent on some token system
2. I am planning the commenting BUT ... it should be commenting only for the category (album) not for single image, it should be very easy ... only posting the comment, nothing more... BUT the problem is my time, I don't sell my extensions so I must do them in my freetime BUT in my free time I answer all the questions by forum, all the questions by e-mail, I must write manuals for all extensions... so there is no time for developing nor for other hobbies like sport, etc... so the only I can say, I don't know if I do some feature and if I do it, I don't know when ...

Hey Jan,
Since I really appreciate your work I'd love to help you. It would make a lot more sense if you work on the components instead of answering questions in the forum all the time.
So, I'd really like to help you, but, since I'm not a programmer, the only way to help you would be to answer the "simple" questions in the forum like isntallation routine, how to's and so on...
Just tell me what you think of that. Probably there are more people willing to help you...?
Regards,
Flo.
