On looking at recommened settings I have red crosses by many of the actual settings eg Function imageCreateFromJPEG.

Can you tell me how I enable these settings? I presume it's an ini file nbut I'm not sure which one.

This php settings can be edited in php.ini on your server.
But be careful and make a backup first, if you are not familiar with it!!
