Search Photo Module

My client is asking for a search module that will list found images visually, like on stock image sites.

What do you think is this possible?

Hi, not in the module or plugin, for such feature, the core Joomla! needs to be modified. Search this in this forum, there is guide how to do it. The search outcomes are displayed by Joomla! itself, not by the plugin or module so the images cannot be displayed in the module

Get the images to display on Joomla's search results page?

Get the results to link to individual images and not just the category?

Hi, both must be customized.

The search outcome is displayed in Joomla! search code, so this must be customized there (cannot be done in the plugin )


1) there is guide how to do it in this forum somewhere
2) it is difficult, because you need to load all the popup (modal, jak, ...) framework to the search output code

Hi Jan,

Thanks for your help, unfortunately this and the statistics issue was too much for my client so I've moved everything to Datso which is not as pretty but it does handle the search well and now handles the statistics very well too.
