Multi add and single image upload issues

I made a video (above) to demonstrate the problems I have been having with image uploading.

Specifically, multi add had a problem with thumbnails once it finally did upload, and single add had a problem with the image uploading but then not being part of the slideshow in the gallery. I demonstrate it in the short video above, which I initially began making as a tutorial. I hope you can understand it.

I am desperate to find the answer, I have posted the video on youtube and tweeted on twitter to try and get an answer.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Or any other suggestions for simple image galleries for joomla also appreciated.

I hope someone can please take the time to watch my video and help me correct the problem.

Thanks.

Hi, I will answer it chronological.

Multiple Add - if you go to multiple add and want to upload images, you should not specify category and not checkbox the folder. There are two functions - add (add images to gallery) and upload (upload images to server)

So first you should do, you should upload images (not checkbox the folder you want to upload to, but you click on the folder, like in your file manager), After clicking on the folder you will be in the folder and you can upload images into this folder.

After images will be uploaded, you will select the folder with checkbox (you don't need to select category, as if you select whole folder, the folder will be translated to category)

Javaupload (see this forum, there are a lot of different problems with not loading java in the browsers)
Flash Upload (does not work with the latest Adobe Flash plugin - in Phoca Gallery 3 this feature is changed)
See: https://www.phoca.cz/news/30-phoca-news/ ... 2-released

Cherries - cherries image is included in slideshow, but if you click on play button, the slideshow is starting from the first image of the category (you can change this in parameters)
