Preserve original image size on upload

I've noticed that when I upload a new image, phoca gallery resizes the original image and also creates a thumbnail. Now, I like the size of the thumbnail, but I would love to retail the original size of the images. Is this possible to do without an added feature? If so, how do you do it, and if not, could you add this as a feature?
Thanks very much,
Kevin

Hi Jan,
Thanks again for the quick reply. I looked through these parameters a few times and I can't find anything related to the original image size and preserving it. =/ Can you direct me to the exact parameter? I must be blind. lol

I see that if you want to download the image, you can download the full image. Now that I think about it, it's probably best to keep the mid-size image the way it is, however I think it would be great to have an option to re-size to original in the case that someone would like to see every detail of an image. For my circumstance, I'll be hosting image galleries (portfolios) for artists and many times, these artists like to be able to show every pixel of detail. But that can't be done with a thumbnail or mid-size image.
So, I suppose this would turn into a feature request... the ability to view "original size" images from the gallery or image popup box viewer. Perhaps a zoom link in the corner of the image or below it? Would this be possible?
