Inaccessible gallery preference pane

Hello all,

I'm building a site and would really like to use Phoca Gallery to display photos. It works really great, I'm very pleased with its flexibility.

I've discovered a problem, unfortunately; when I try to configure the gallery options in the 'Gallery Preferences', all I get is an empty lightbox... (all I really want to do is to turn on the download button on the frontend). HELP!

(I am having problems with joomla as a whole, now and again, getting a whole bunch of blank pages... very irritating... so, off-topic: anyone know what I should do?)

Can nobody help me? I'd really like to see how much I could personalise Phoca Gallery... if I could just get the pref pane working...

Maybe a new Joomla! install (because you also have problems with Joomla!)?

I use J!1.5.3 with PhocaGallery 1.8.6 and I have sometimes that it doesn't open in the lightbox, but in the mainscreen. But that didn't happen often.

- maybe you click before the modal box is loaded... sometimes the modal box (css, js) is loaded slower than your click on detail image...

Symmetry - maybe you have some problems with javascript on your browser? Do you use Firefox?
