2) yes this is still in feature request list (now there is no time to answer the topics in the forum, so no developing .... I by myself cannot do what others do in teams

4) Global configuration x Parameters Component - this you must ask in joomla.org, I didn't invent it, see reasons why there are two configurations:

5) if you e.g. do an update, no data in database will be lost, no images in phoca gallery folder will be lost, only new files will be copied, the same if you will do an upgrade via FTP:
