link to the category

I created two categories with images in phoca, then added a menu item for categories view, but when those two categories are displayed (first image thumbs and names) and when want to open one of them, its link leads to nowhere - as www.abrac.ru/index.php/gallery1/category/11-ussr. Here ussr - the name of the category and 11 its id. The question is, what is wrong? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your reply! Of course, there is something wrong with the url that should open the gategory, that's why we see this error. But the question remains, i.e. - why this url is incorrect and at what moment and in which place does it form? I created the gallery, categories and menu (its link - http://abrac.ru/index.php?option=com_ph ... &Itemid=72 - perfectly works) all according to users manual, but categories wouldn't open because of this strange url - www.abrac.ru/index.php/gallery1/category/11-ussr. Help please!!!!

Hi,
try to create a menu link to Phoca Gallery Component categories view with the joomla! standart main menu for testing. If this works you can hide it later.

Thanks again, Benno! I did as you proposed and as written in article - new link for the menu is http://www.abrac.ru/index.php?option=co ... categories. It has no template thus gallery looks ugly, categories got new urls - http://www.abrac.ru/index.php/component ... ry/11-ussr, that still doesn'n work

Strange - just try this link http://abrac.ru/index.php?option=com_ph ... &Itemid=72and then click on one of the two pictures or links. Still can't get what's wrong.

Does this work with SEF off, this seems like the SEF:
component/phocagallery/category/13-kuzmin
does not found the menu item id???
