Hello,

first of all thanks for your great work and the possibility to use it!
I installed Joomla 1.6 and the phoca gallery incl. phoca gallery slideshow and phoca galler slideshow noob.
Basically everything works except one thing. On the demo page for the noob slideshow is a very special effect where the pictures are getting replaced with a progress bar below the picture and the pictures are changing in rectangles.

I tried all effects available in FX Transition but none of these effects are working except "bouncing" all the others are quite similar.

Any idea what is wrong?

thanks for the quick reply. However floom seems to be buggy. What I did:
uploaded the floom plugin
set the position to the desired one in the template position 15
this does have a size of 1050x180 pixel
saved
then I went to Phoca gallery
created new category called "header"
in the "options" dialog of the control panel I set for "large thumbnails" (by the way what is this definition good for and what is the difference for medium and small pictures??????)
1050x180
then upload the pictures which do already have the size 1050x180! into the new category "header"
then created thumbnails

then went back to modules and typed in the ID to be shown, in this case "4"

activated module

result: nothing! just a box that is grey in the size of the pictures that should appear.

Then I tested to use existing pictures of another category which have different sizes for example 2400x1500
created again thumbnails with 1050x180 and set this category ID in the module of floom
result: pictures are shown but are of cores crap as then any part of the picture is shown but of course not the detail of interest. However then at least pictures are shown...


When I switch of floom and activate noob with the same picture created in the category "header" then these pictures are perfectly shown.


Then general question: Why is it not possible to delete picture in gallery. I mena of course I can say delet however they remain in the directory. So delete is a function of no use?

Hi, because Phoca Gallery is not a file manager. The problem is, Phoca Gallery is large component with many functions and there are problems on some servers because of its large (e.g. while installing, etc.). So the problem is you cannot include any functions you want. So some function are not added the the gallery extensions, like managing e.g. original images on the server which can be done by ftp, media manager or other file manager


Can I see the site with enabled floom where the problem occurs?

I have three pictures in the category "header" for floom. ID is 4 all pictures are 1050x 180 or a little less (1px)
only one gets displayed which is one I did create in photoshop elemenst (the others have been resized as well in photoshop elements) so this one is with an artifical background, the others show a crop of the original picture.
this one is OK

these are not displayed

Well, if there is an error in this script than it is caused by someone. I did not change anything, however it is not working with any template even your's?
So I am not such a specialist in php, css or js. Thats why I am using Joomla as normally I just have to fill in text

Hi, then try to set other template, to see the javascript console, now in beez, there is some problem.

For now I have info about one problem in the floom, but this is only related to IE browsers (mootools 1.3 and IE)
