Limited number of markers

Hi all,
I am using Phoca Maps 1.0.5 with Joomla 1.5 and have a problem with limited number of markers.
I am able to add exactly 18 markers to a menu link associated map. When adding the 19th marker the map disappears, wether markers are abled oder enabled.
I know, that there were some threads about the topic of limited markers, but I think, there was no real solution for it until now. Has anybody a solution for it? Can anybody tell me, if the problem still exists in the version 1.1.1 for Joomla 1.5 oder 2.0.0 for Joomla 1.6?
When I switch between versions 1.0.5 an 1.1.1 (API 2and 3) for Joomla 1.5... I am going to loose my markers?
