Installation problem with com_phocagallery_v3.0.0_rc4

Hi,

First of all, excuse my poor english (I'm French).

I'm trying to install com_phocagallery_v3.0.0_rc4 on my Joomla 1.6 website since a few days, but I can't.
I just use the installer on Joomla as usual : it seems the file is correctly uploaded but after that, there is a blank page like that :

Hi, enable php error reporting to get more info about the problem.

Try to install it via ftp, see:

I"m having a similar installation problem, using Joomla 1.7. When I try to install it "times out" and I get a page that says "Internet Explorer cannot display the page".

I went to the link above to try to install it via ftp, but I need help with that too. My server is Go Daddy and I can't figure out where to create the tmp folder, as you said: "3) Copy unzipped files to tmp folder located in Joomla! root folder on your server (e.g. create a subfolder there: (Joomla! root) tmp/large-component/

4) Go to your Joomla! administration - Extensions - Extension Manager - Install from Directory (set the folder where you have copied the files - tmp/large-component/ ) - click on Install."
