Hello,
Congratulations on Phoca.
I think you have nailed many of the top features required for good galleries
(Autoslideshow, easy organization, etc.)

YouTube - Gallery by Youtube UserID
I was wondering if there is any chance you will look at the YouTube API to see if you can pull a user's videos into a gallery in Phoca dynamically.

This has been done in Joomla by this YouTube Gallery component http://demo.webdesignhero.com/index.php ... _ytgallery

It seems that with YouTube specifically, since they already create metadata, piclens type viewing, thumbnails, etc. for you, why go to all the trouble of recreating everything from scratch?
The API exposes these items, I'm just not sure how crazy hard it is to actually do.

I will gladly contribute to it if you find it a useful feature.

All the best!

Hi, the problem is Phoca Gallery works other way. it uses images on the user's server, you can assign youtube to picture... e.g. you will create a gallery with e.g. 5 images and you will add 5 youtube videos to the image thumbnails ... I have no idea how to create a category with other video links :(
